This class is designed as both an introduction to the School Finance System and School Finance Software (MUNIS) and also as a refresher course for those of whom already have some understanding of these topics. Students will complete this course with an understanding of how to read and understand their accounts; how to understand the purchasing laws that govern their procurements requirements; and how use MUNIS to look up their accounts and past transactions, pull audit trails for their school/department, complete purchasing requisitions, look up vendors, and more.

Time allowing, the course may also involve a basic overview of how to use Microsoft Excel to make the most of your downloaded reports.
