Target Audience: Teachers 6-8 Teachers 9-12, Para Professionals, Special Educators
In this session, educators will begin by taking a survey to self-asses their own executive functioning as a pathway to understanding this broad topic. We will discuss how educators can support executive functioning through the physical enviornment of their classroom, share mini-lessons on specific aspects (metacognition, working memory, etc)., and practice interactive games to promote these skills. Educators will walk away with new knowledge, strategies, and actionable lessons to use in their practice.
