Target Audience: Adminstrators, Teachers PK-5, Teachers 6-8 Teachers 9-12, Para Professionals, Special Educators
This session will focus on current research and practices related to bullying that can be used at the classroom and school levels. Specifically, this session will support teachers, counselors, and school leaders by focusing on:
1) Recent research on bullying prevention and intervention presented by Boston University Professor, Dr. Jennifer Green. 2) Practices that can be used to reduce bullying and support targets, aggressors, bystanders, other students, and staff. 3) Hands-on engagement with case studies that provide participants with opportunity to apply current research practices to resolving bullying situations.
