Target Audience: Teachers 6-8 Teachers 9-12, Para Professionals
The intended outcomes for educators is an in depth understanding of the Newton METCO Program, the unique narrative of the Newton METCO student, and how to teach about the Newton METCO program with cultural competency. Educators will be learning about their own unique, racial and cultural identity developments. Educators will learn about how to incorporate culturally responsive instruction into their teaching practices. We will emphasize how to build high quality relationships.
