Target Audience: Teachers 6-8 Teachers 9-12, Special Educators
The goal of the session would be to give teachers a better understanding of how TikTok works and how it might impact the American political system. It is essential for educators to understand TikTok because so many kids are on it consistently and therefore influenced by it. Hopefully educators will come away from the session more comfortable in teaching explicitly about TikTok in their classrooms. Multiple lessons about TikTok would be provided for teachers to take with them to use with their own students.
