Student use and misuse of AI continues to evolve. While there are innovative approaches for educators to use AI, investigations to detect AI plagiarism is time consuming, stressful and ineffective. This facilitated workshop will give educators time and space to develop an effective and pragmatic approach to respond to AI in our classrooms. By the end of the workshop, educators will develop common strategies they can use in their classroom, and we can clarify school-wide processes when students misuse AI. We will research best practices and develop a document that can be shared district wide to help educators and schools to respond to AI.
