With the surge of mental health and trauma-related issues in schools, come new anxieties and demands on classroom teachers, administrators, student support staff, and more. This straightforward workshop walks educators through recognizing warning signs and effective adaptations that minimize disruption to struggling students and the larger community. We will be discussing universal approaches to teaching and community building that benefit all rather than singling out struggling students for support. You will come away with ideas for maintaining academic rigor while supporting students who are struggling.
