Being an effective leader isn’t just about knowing the technical side of your work—it’s also about understanding yourself and human relationships. Emotional intelligence is your superpower for driving sustainable change that supports equity, collaboration, and belonging in your organization.

In this workshop, we’ll dive into how you can better understand and manage your emotions, clearly communicate your needs, and recognize how conscious and unconscious biases might affect your work and relationships. By boosting your emotional intelligence, you’ll learn how to build stronger connections and better understand the people around you, setting the stage for more impactful leadership and rewarding relationships.

Session Outcomes-Using the domains of emotional intelligence (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management) as a lens, participants will:
-Define your leadership vision.
-Identify the roadblocks holding you back and how to overcome them.
-Develop actionable strategies to turn your leadership vision into reality.
-Enhance your understanding of others, to create a more inclusive and equitable work environment.
