The goal of this session is for teachers to understand how equitable grading practices exist at the center of culturally responsive and universally designed classrooms. This will be an opportunity for middle and high school teachers across the district to connect with one another about how to move to more equitable (while still sustainable) grading practices. Teachers will have the opportunity to network and troubleshoot around grading changes they want to try or are already trying. The session will be informed by the work of Feldman, Gusky and others, with an eye towards generating sustainable practices for both teachers and students.
